Got a flyer a in mail and saw they let you order delivery online. I tried their Meal Deal for one which let me choose a rice item, 1 meat, protein or veggie item, a samosa, bread and 1 of their dips or chutneys. The meal deal cost $14.99 + tax. I thought the price seemed decent for what I was getting and the ingredients tasted fresh. I don't typically associate the word healthy with samosa's or Indian food in general but it seemed healthier. I had the vegetable basmati rice, chicken curry, a chicken samosa and white Naan bread. I also picked the mint and coriander dip. I added a mango chutney, lentils with spinach veggie dish and a mango Lassi (which I wasn't sure if they could deliver but they did). After ordering the extras I realized after I should have just ordered the meal deal for 2 to get a better deal and was annoyed the guy on the phone didn't suggest this to me, but that's my fault. This aside, the chicken curry was tasty with nice flavour but I've had way better. I did like the flavour of the baked samosa. Not greasy at all, but the batter was a little too thick in my opinion and they were cold when they arrived. The lentils with spinach dish was really nice, I like it the most mixed with the chicken curry, however it too was luke warm when it arrived. The rice was ok, the veggies were just the frozen cheap kind, nothing special. Really like the dip and chutney with the Naan bread and the Mango Lassi was delicious!!

If I ate here again, I think it would be just for take out and not delivery. It seemed more like slightly higher quality food court take out food then real deal Indian cooking. I noticed they do an Indian Curry Burrito called a Currito and if I'm near one of their 4 locations I will give this a try just because I love Burritos. I would definitely have another mango Lassi from Veda. All and all I give them 3 stars... it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Can get better food for around the same price.
